"My message to young people: As long as life is a struggle for survival, we are faced with many challenges, frustrations and disappointments from time to time. Conflict with colleagues is one of the occupational hazards. However, for satisfying others, one should never compromise with one's ideals, values and ethics. I wish more young persons choose their careers, consistent with their values, goals and aptitudes instead of short- term financial rewards. Whatever the chosen career be, let the pursuit for excellence be the goal. A strong commitment and dedication pave the path for excellence. Success is a coin with hard work on one side and perseverance with devotion on the other. No matter what head or tail - the message is the same, keep on working. In my pursuit of truth and beauty, the structures I have designed and build and the books and papers published based on my research, have given me more joy and satisfaction, than any money, position, power or fame. One's creations, structures or writings, are more enduring and everlasting than one's money or power.
There is no substitute for knowledge. There is a joy in learning. There is a joy in creation and there is a joy in facing a challenge."
